Shell + Joel

Today is this couple's first full day as husband & wife! I had the pleasure of taking their pictures yesterday afternoon right before they tied the knot. Sometimes couples get a little shy when I ask them to kiss, but NOT them! They were so sweet & into each other. What a fun family - congratulations!

Ozzy, Slayer, Anthrax & Bryce

Bryce is a rock star. He landed me my first wedding - his sister's - and then he wanted anything but typical senior pictures. No trees, rivers or parks for this guy. He wanted a junk yard! That's my kind of photo shoot.

My Baby Fix

It was so refreshing to hang out with Grayson & his mom Jolie. In the midst of a busy wedding & senior pictures season, being around a giggly baby was just what I needed. This was our 3rd session...the 1st one was back in March. So, it's been fun watching him grow. What a scrumptious lil' guy and gorgeous mommy. Click on the "No Parking" picture to see it bigger & look at Grayson's two little bottom teeth!

*If you're in need of some R&R, go to Jolie's salon *The Living Room* in downtown Great Falls. They offer facials, hair services, massages, the works - and the salon is very hip & classy - check it out!

What a day...my lil' model was pooped.

She's Baaaaack

Morgen & I had to cut our 1st session short because the sun went down too fast (or maybe it's because we were talking & having too much fun!) So, we got together again. We found lots of cool new places, but my fave was a train with teeth painted on it.

P.S. If you're one of my seniors or senior moms, your online gallery is ALMOST done. Thanks for being so patient! :)

A Beautiful Evening

Bob & Jadi are a wedding photographer's dream come true! They didn't want any posed pictures (I snuck in a few) and basically told me to do whatever I wanted to do!!! They're incredibly laid back, genuine, caring and madly in love, so I knew the wedding was going to be emotional. When Jadi was reading her vows, I was crying behind my camera!

The weather was less than ideal - windy and rainy - but Bob & Jadi handled it with humor and grace by moving the entire reception (cake, band, flowers, everything) from their home to the Belt Creek Brew Pub! Although it wasn't Wedding Plan A, they didn't skip a beat and made the best of it...a true reflection of their character and relationship.

Let the party begin!

The Senior Rush Continues

This senior has it all. Thomas is an athlete, a musician...he's kind...and he's hysterical. He had me cracking up the entire time.

*I've got a wedding tonight and three senior sessions coming up this weekend...so stay tuned for tons of pictures.

Picture of the Week

OK, I don't really like to post pictures of myself...but I couldn't pass this one up! I had an MRI done this week and, although it looks freaky, it's a huge improvement! The swelling (white area) used to be TWICE the size. For those of you who don't know, I had a brain hemorrhage in Feb. 2006. To make sure it didn't happen again, doctors performed a radiation procedure to the leaky vessel in Aug. 2006. Cliff notes version: radiation beams zapped that vessel shut, so it wouldn't act up again. It's been an interesting recovery, as my body experienced very late side effects. And when I say late, I'm talking about THIS summer! I'm on my way to a full recovery and want to thank my clients for being so understanding with my ups & downs over the last few months. I'm feeling better every single day and couldn't be more thankful for my good health. My next scan is in 6 months. I'll share again, so we can do a "before and after."

First Day of School...and pictures?!?

My hat is off to Aaron. Today was the first day of school & he was up for pictures at dawn! Well, kind of. ;) After a stop for coffee and donuts, we were ready to go. Aaron is 100% Montanan, so he felt right at home when we went to my favorite hay farm. Best of luck in school...and in hunting season!
