Ashley + Todd

Pictures tell a story....and for Ashley and Todd, photographs tell stories of their childhood, family, friends and how they fell in love. On their wedding day at the Algeria Shrine Temple in Helena, they shared pictures with their guests in the guest book, the program, on the tables and during an emotional & hysterical slideshow. Here's the story of their wedding day.

The rooms in the Algeria Shrine Temple maintain its original decor, filled with antique furniture and dim lighting. This shot was taken pointed towards one of the dusty, gold framed mirrors.




For the boys, we headed outside...




What also made this wedding so energetic were the KIDS! Between the flowergirls, ring bearers & junior bridesmaids, there were 10 total!





During their vows, everything else seemed to disappear.


My talented assistant/husband is a pro at the ring shots. He used their table centerpieces to create this shot - niiiiice Matt!


The picture on the program showed off a move Todd reenacted that night on the dance floor!




Todd is from North Dakota, where a bunch of his friends brought over their traditions - like auctioning off the bride and groom. Ashley was worth quite a bit more than Todd! ;)

And after a good night sleep...well, maybe... ;) ...we met up for even more pictures! Yee haw - I've been waiting forever to do what's called a *Day After Session.* It's exactly what it sounds like. The next day, the bride & groom get back into their duds for a completely relaxed session when there's no pressure, no timelines and no worries about getting your dress dirty. There's also something very refreshing and romantic about the *day after* a wedding. When Ashley put her dress back on, she decided to forego the fancy hair and any makeup. Ashley was glowing so much...she didn't need to primp. A natural beauty. Todd...yep, he was glowing too. Here's the stunning couple on the first day of their marriage.
