- Taking pictures is something I like to call telling stories. My interest in photography started in college while I was writing features for local newspapers. I fell in love with the way photojournalists captured spontaneous, natural and emotional moments. There's no "cheese." No random props. No awkward poses. When you're looking at a portrait, you shouldn't be looking at a picture. You should be looking at a person.
Christmas Orders & Cards
It's never too early to start planning for your Christmas card! I'm now booked until mid-January for sessions. For Christmas orders, my deadline is November 25th so please get your orders in as early as possible! And if you're interested in what my holiday cards look like, here's a look at some from last year!

I just keep coming back for more ... your talent in capturing your subjects' soul on film/digital/xray (say what???)/whatever - is so evident and inspiring. You make your subjects rock because it's obvious you rock. Looking forward to our "elder" shoot in November!

i have always wanted someone to be brave enough for me to shoot them in front of that 2nd hand shop...Irenes Flower shop up by Wally world is also a fun purple brick color. how in the world do you find these awesome spots? your da bomb...i love tessa's shoes too...they're hot.
