Jacie + Brett
When it came to their wedding photography, their main wish was that we captured THE DAY. The love. The family. The friends. The funny moments. The dancing. They wanted the photos to express their excitement as they start their lives together. Jacie + Brett were unbelievably laid-back and enjoyed every minute of their day, which put everyone (including their photographers) at ease. We had a blast shooting this wedding! Let's start with the dress!
Gorgeous makeup by Ashley at The Living Room. GORGEOUS bride!
They set aside plenty of time before the ceremony to do all of their pictures!
There were tons of people "Cruisin' the Drag" downtown that day and it seems like the whole town knows Jacie + Brett, so I had to keep them on track! :)
We also hit up Giant Springs for some "pretty" shots. Look Jacie - green grass!
Some sweet time with grandma...
Time to get married!
LOTS of kissing!
They rode off in Harley style!
Off to the reception, where Matt went to great heights for a good picture!
Father-daughter dance: LOVE this expression!
Dozens of current and former students celebrated with "Miss Varner." It's easy to tell that she has a huge influence on their lives.
Cheers Jacie + Brett!!! Stay tuned for something brand new we launched at this wedding...

Cindy~ WOW!! Jacie and Brett's day was so wonderful, and you really did a great job capturing that. We all enjoyed your fun, bubbly personality. I can't wait to see the rest of the shots! Jacie, you look stunning... Love ya' sis.
Please note that my name and the words "unbelievably laid-back" were used in the same sentence (this is not always the case...)! Cindy and crew (Matt and Matt) made wedding pictures a very enjoyable experience and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who is looking. Even my husband (who is not a picture guy) agreed that the experience was awesome. I haven't stopped singing your praises since May 10th, Cindy. Thank you for being you and for spending the entire day with us! Jacie Schoenen
Taking pictures is something I like to call telling stories. My interest in photography started in college while I was writing features for local newspapers. I fell in love with the way photojournalists captured spontaneous, natural and emotional moments. There's no "cheese." No random props. No awkward poses. When you're looking at a portrait, you shouldn't be looking at a picture. You should be looking at a person.
It's never too early to start planning for your Christmas card! I'm now booked until mid-January for sessions. For Christmas orders, my deadline is November 25th so please get your orders in as early as possible! And if you're interested in what my holiday cards look like, here's a look at some from last year!
The outside of a trifold card (the guy in this card - Jason Johnson - is actually the one who designed all of these cards! He's the best!) the inside...
Hello there! I want to know who is stopping by to browse. Who are you? :)
